Teachings from the church leader

Who is Jesus Christ?

For many is difficult to comprehend fully who Jesus Christ is. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God, the Savior and the redeemer of the world. Unless we fully understand that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and accept it, there will be no life in us.

Matthew (KJV) 16:13-17

  1. When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
  2. And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.
  3. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
  4. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
  5. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

From the time Jesus started his ministry he continued to say he is the son and he has a father. In many cases he mentioned being the Son and his Father has sent him. Let’s look at some of these scriptures:

John 8:18 (KJV)

I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me

John 8:29 (KJV)

And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him

John 5:37 (KJV)

And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

Jesus Christ’s father is not a partial God but he is perfect. He loves every one and he wants us to be happy in this live and in the live to come. We are on this earth to be tested. Things will not be always smooth.

Adversity is part of our growth for eternity. Even if there is no Satan there will still be difficulties. This helps us to humble and ask our heavenly Father for help.

It’s like the earthly family. When our three year old child is trying to do something with his toy and he can’t, do it then he will have to ask his parents for help. When the child fails to ask for help then the toy gets broken and the child gets very frustrated and cries bitterly.

Two things will happen. Either the child recognizes his mistake and asks the parent to buy anther one or keeps crying. The parent will promise to buy the new toy to stop the child’s frustration. Just because the child fails to ask for help earlier, the child may have to wait for the new toy for two or three days or even one week.

So like unto our Heavenly Father. Even though we do not see Him but He sees all the mistakes we are leading to. All He needs from us is an effort.

When we fail to ask we mess up. When we mess up we will have to wait for a while to resolve the problem. During this period we learn from our own mistakes. These mistakes help us to grow and become teachers to others.

Even if we do not recognize God he still solves the problem as we with our three years old child. God loves all his children. It may be quicker when you ask for help, than when you fail to ask for help. All God needs from us is for us to recognize His son, obey his teachings and follow his examples.

1 John 4:10 (KJV)

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

1 John 3:1 (KJV)

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

I want you to know that, I personally know that God the eternal Father lives and that his Son Jesus Christ lives. I have seen him in visions of dreams talking to me. I know what I am saying is true and God knows it.

All God needs from us is to have faith in his Son, repent from our wrongdoings, baptize and continue to obey his commandments. I want you to know that God loves every one, poor or rich, handicapped, or other races.

The value of every human being is the mind and the heart, not the appearance.

Luke 17:21 (KJV)

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of God within you means your mind and your heart. From your mind and your heart proceeds good and evil. In the day of judgment we will be judged by our thoughts, desires, feelings, and actions.

1 John 3:20 (KJV)

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

I want you to know that Jesus is the Son of God, the Son of the Living God. If we get close to him He will get close to us. I know what I am saying is true and I know God knows it. I leave this with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, Amen.
